Edge Evolution

Edge's first generation programmer, the Edge Evolution improves drive ability and delivers horsepower and torque gains. The evolution can display and clear diagnostic trouble codes and adjust speed and rev limiters. Incredibly, the Edge Evolution is the first programmer to keep on working once the ECU is flashed. Deep Transmission Pan

High volumes of cool transmission fluid equate to long transmission life. BD's deep aluminum pans increase oil capacity, while 356T6 cast aluminum construction and heat-dissipating fins keep temperature down. As an added bonus, the pan's increased rigidity prevents case twisting. BD pans for Ford applications also utilize an embedded O-ring sealing surface to prevent leaks. kit includes a magnetic drain plug and temperature sending unit port. To suit Ford F250 Super duty 4R100 and E40D transmissions.

Pressure Loc

It's a basic principle of automatic transmission: more throttle input results in higher transmission line pressure to keep the clutch plates engaged. The problem is, once the Power Stroke engine is modified, it produces more power and torque with less throttle input, which means the engine may be producing peak torque when line pressure is still low. the result can be clutch slippage, increased heat, and accelerated wear.

The BD Pressure Loc for 1995-2003 Ford E40D and 4R100 transmissions simply plugs in to the transmission and increases line pressure to hold the clutch plates together at peak torque. The Pressure Loc increases the pressure every time the lock up clutch engages, increasing pressure to both the clutch's

The Pressure Loc is particularly useful in exhaust brake applications, as exhaust brakes engage when the throttle is released, and line pressure is at its lowest. With Pressure Loc, maximum pressure is applied to the transmission, allowing you to utilize 100% of the exhaust brake's retarding power.

Exhaust Brakes

increase your driving confidence and towing safety with the superior retarding performance of the BD Brake. Using BD's exclusive variable orifice technology BD's turbo-mount design bolts in place of the factory elbow between the turbo and the exhaust system, providing peak retarding power throughout the engine's rpm range-not just at high rpm like other brands. our remote mount models, meanwhile, mount in the exhaust pipe and are perfect for modified application that may use an aftermarket turbo.

Designed for years of reliable operation, the BD Brake's rugged cast-iron housing incorporates BCD's exclusive Aluminum Bronze bushing and piston rings-sealed, stainless steel butterfly shaft that has proven to stand up under the harsh, high-heat conditions of the exhaust environment. Actuated by an air cylinder (newer models) or a powerful, three-inch vacuum cylinder(earlier models), the offset butterfly valve won's stick, and has been strategically placed in the elbow so that it wont impede exhaust flow when in the open positing. The BD brake incorporates a threaded port for mounting an EGT probe, as well as a 1/4 inch stainless steel port that can be used to monitor the brake's retarding performance. Controlled by a lighted On/Off toggle switch for automatic transmissions, or stick mounted rocker switch for manual transmissions, the BD brake communicates with the engine's electronically control torque converter clutch engagement. This addition effectively reduces slippage, resulting in peak retarding performance as well as lower transmission temperatures.
